FILIPPO AVIGNONESI
Is based in Rome Italy and has been teaching around the world for over
10 years. He has been teaching workshops and has done performances
in Italy, France, the U.S.A. Germany, Japan, Portugal, Sweden, Cyprus,
Ukraine and Russia.
In Buenos Aires he learned from well over 100 different teachers and
then developed his own teaching concept for which he is now sought after. Because of his didactical abilities, he´s especially requested for workshops.
Filippo was one of the leading performer at the International Tango Festival 2009 in London, He is also part of the famous international teaching staff of Alejandra Mantiñan. He has partnered with Alejandra Gutty, Emilia Cerutti, Eliana Sanchez, Valencia Batiuk, Natalia Ochoa,
Francesca Del Buono and several
other accomplished dancers.
Filippo is fluent in Italian, English,
German, Spanish and also speaks
some Russian.
MARCO SPAZIANI
Marco discovered his passion for TANGO in 1992, and from then on he has studied with the most famous Argentinean maestros from the companies Tangox2, Forever Tango and Tango Pasión.
Recently the municipality of Rome awarded him the Roma per il Ballo prize.
As a DANCER he has performed on stage, screen, and television (during the promotional tour of Carlos Saura's "Tango" he was invited to perform in a choreography for seven couples, including Maestro Juan Carlos Copes and Adrián Aragón with Erica Boaglio, for the Saturday night show of Italy's national TV network RAI), as well as in the milongas of Buenos Aires.
As CHOREOGRAPHER he worked for Claudia Zaccari, prima ballerina at Rome's Teatro dell’Opera and in TV productions (Canale 5).
As TEACHER he has regularly been teaching the male
and female roles in his own elegant fashion –
a mixture of salon and milonguero –
with private and group lessons and in workshops
in Rome as well as in Perugia, Ischia and Siena.
He is also very familiar with the dynamics of the so-called
tango nuevo.
In the last two years he has been dancing and teaching
with Alejandra Mantiñan in Perugia and in her school in
Rome. He has also started to collaborate with
Gisele Avanzi by giving lessons with her in
Rome and Perugia.
